March is definitely leaving like a lion...
…Due to the rainy/winter conditions today in the STL, my 5 mile tempo run was done on a treadmill. Ugh. How did I survive the 50 minutes of boredom? Well, let’s break it down:
1. Video Podcast from one of the sermons I missed at church. Excellent stuff that kept my eyes off the clock - 35 mins
2. Jason Derulo album - definitely not the peppiest music when I’m wanting...
Run Report
A quick catch up on the running:
Missed our tempo run last week due to scheduling conflicts, but I’m not going to beat myself up over it. I was able to cross train and found myself at Sunday ready for the long run of the week - 6 miles. Lovely that it rained for that hour plus.
Tonight was back to the track - same speed workout as last week with the same results - 2:05, 2:05, 2:08, and...
I *heart* Nickel Creek…even more now.

Tonight marked the first official night of 1/2 marathon training…and what a way to start with some speedwork!
-20 min warm up jog
-4x400 speed repeats with 2 min cooldown in between
-10 min cool down jog/walk
I should have been hitting 2:15 on my 400’s, but managed to squeak out 2:05, 2:05, 2:10, and 2:08. I’ll take it!

Another Gloomy Morning
